CASAS Testing

Lorenzo Walker Technical College offers CASAS (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems) testing through the Testing Center. CASAS assessments are used to measure academic skills and support student placement, readiness, and program entry requirements, as applicable.
Students who may be required to complete CASAS testing should contact the Testing Center or Student Services for scheduling information and next steps.
TEAS Assessment

Lorenzo Walker Technical College offers the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) through the Testing Center for students applying to the Practical Nursing and Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) programs.
The TEAS is a standardized assessment used to help measure academic readiness for nursing education. The exam evaluates skills in Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and Language Usage.
Who Should Take the TEAS?
Applicants to LWTC’s Practical Nursing and Professional Nursing (LPN-RN) programs should review current admissions requirements to determine whether TEAS testing is required as part of the application process. Many technical and state colleges use the TEAS as part of nursing admissions review.
