This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of 2 occupational completion points. This program is comprised of courses that have been assigned course numbers in the SCNS (Statewide Course Numbering System) in accordance with Section 1007.24 (1), F.S. Career and Technical credit shall be awarded to the student on a transcript in accordance with Section 1001.44(3) (b), F.S.

Attendance Expectations and Performance Requirements
Students are expected to attend class, be on time, and stay until the end of class—the total number of hours for this program is 1350 hours. Absence from class for more than 10% of scheduled hours can result in being dropped from the class without a refund. The student is also responsible for paying for make-up hours.
LWTC Health Sciences Department has established 80% as the minimum academic standard for passing. Students are required to pass the cumulative course final exams at 80% or higher to progress in the program. The academic grades may include, but is not limited to, attendance, professionalism, clinical evaluations, lab work, quizzes, exams, special projects, class participation, in-class work, and a final exam.
To successfully complete the program, students must:
- Earn a minimum overall grade of 80% in each course.
- Achieve a Level 2 or higher on all proctored course assessments.
- Raw score of a minimum of 74.2% on the ATI Comprehensive Predictor Exam.
