Dr. Dunn-Mendez has over 30 years of experience in the medical field. After serving on the Medical Assisting Community Advisory Board for several years she stepped into the role of Instructor and Program Director in the Fall of 2021. Dr. Dunn-Mendez has a passion for teaching those who are called to the field of Medical Assisting and the necessary critical thinking and soft skills help students to be successful from day one. As a professional outpatient clinic administrator, her insight and experience is beneficial for Medical Assisting students. She is an active member of many organizations such as MGMA, FMAA, CCMSA, and an AJLI Sustaining member. She is a wife, mother of 4 children, and has been residing permanently in Collier County since 2015.
