Program Overview

The Cosmetology program transforms your creativity into a licensed career in beauty. You’ll master hair cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments along with skin and nail care services. Our state-of-the-art salon lab lets you work on real clients under the supervision of licensed instructors, so you graduate with both technical skills and professional experience. Training includes salon business operations, customer service, and Florida state board exam preparation. This program is perfect for those with a passion for helping others look and feel their best while building a flexible and rewarding career.

Program Structure and Courses

This program consists of a one occupational completion point. Students must complete the core, or demonstrate the mastery of skills standards contained in the core, before advancing in the program.

This program is comprised of courses which have been assigned course numbers in the SCNS (Statewide Course Numbering System) in accordance with Section 1007.24 (1), F.S. Career and Technical credit shall be awarded to the student on a transcript in accordance with Section 1001.44(3)(b), F.S.
