Program Overview

The Accounting Operations program prepares students to enter the business world with a strong foundation in financial recordkeeping and organizational management. You’ll learn how to process payroll, manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare accurate financial statements, and use accounting software like QuickBooks and Excel to track business performance. This hands-on training mirrors real-world accounting departments, giving you the skills to work effectively in small businesses, corporate offices, and nonprofit organizations. Whether you’re starting your career or upgrading your skills, this program offers the tools to help you succeed in a high-demand field.

Program Structure and Courses

This program is a planned sequence of instruction consisting of four occupational completion points. This program is comprised of courses which have been assigned course numbers in the SCNS (Statewide Course Numbering System) in accordance with Section 1007.24 (1), F.S. Career and Technical credit shall be awarded to the student on a transcript in accordance with Section 1001.44(3)(b), F.S.
